Solving an Inequality
I found a website with a game that you have to solve an inequality and have a multiple choice answer. If you get it right you go on and if you get it wrong you get to retry the problem. Try the game out!
Families of Fucntions
I found a website that will show what the graph wil look ike if you just type in any random equation. Check it out here http://www.slu.edu/classes/maymk/Applets/FamilyGraphs.html.

Family of Functions.
I found a really cool site. It has to do with solving family functions. You type in an equation you would like to see, and you click graph it, then it graphs it for you. It shows you what the line will look like. Either straight, curvy, or it might have some loops. Click here to check it out!
Inequalities
This game is useful because it asks you questions on how to graph inequalities and to solve them.

Linear functions
I found this website on all math stuff. If you go into the algebra category there is a bunch of different things like praticing writing equations in standard form. It also has linear graphs to look at. This website is very helpfull.
Writing Linear Equations
I found an app to help my classmates write linear equations. http://www.journey.sunysb.edu/ProjectJava/lisa1998/graph/eduGraph1/home.html
Families of Functions
I found this really cool site. It gives youa slide show to go through to look at. It also give you graphs to look at. It give you pictures to see real life examples. Click here to go to the website.
Solving one step equations.
If your having trouble solving one step equations, theres a site you can go to get help! Click here! The game gives you an equation and you must solve it, in order to make a basket. So yeah, it has to do with basketball. If you end up getting the equation wrong then you don't make the basket and you try again.
solving equations with a indicated varrible
I found another webstite where it explains to you how to solve it. click here for the link.
Solving Linear Equations
If anyone needs help with solving linear equations look at this webite. It has a equation and you have to click and drag the numbers to solve the equation.
I found an awsome website to help with solving inequalities with some interactive games and tools. Enjoy!
Writing equatoins in standard form
I found this website for people who have trouble with writing equations in standard form. It teaches you how to do it with lots of detail and gives you many examples. Click HERE!
How to graph inequality?
I also had trouble with graphing inequalities. I found this video and I watched it. It helped with having open and closed circles and just how to graph it in general. So click here and actualy watch the video. If you did not understand graphing inequality, did the video help?
I found a basketball themed game to help solving for 2 step equations! You might need paper though because it doesn't give you anywhere to do the actual work... But you even get to pick the color of your player's shoes! (I picked lime green.) But it's good for helping you do the equations in your head, and they're not hard. CLICK HERE TO SAIL THROUGH CYBERSPACE INTO THIS GAME!!!
Solving Inequalities.
This website will help you solve inequalities. You put in your problem and variable and it will show and help you do the problem. Right here.
Identify an ordered pair as the y-intercept
This is a weird way to show you how to identify an orderded pair as the y-itercept. That is what it helps. If you want to veiw the video click Here
Sloveing One step equations
Hey I found a cool video. It helps you to solve one step equations. To go to this click Here
I found the most cutest game ever! It helps you find the imput and output of a function. It is great review for the test. Check it out!
Solving 2-step equations
I found a game that is practice on how to solve 2-step equations. This game is hard but you can turn it into practice mode so that your not timed. If you want to be faster it times how many problems you can do in one minute. Here!
Solving Inequalites
I found these game on coolmath-games.com. They tell you step by step instructions on how to slove inequalities and also gives you some practice. Examples may be: 4x+3<43. To go to this Click Here!
Solving for indicated variable (Name Game)
I had a little trouble with indicated variables. So i found a video that is show you how to solve for a certain variable. He will show you how to get I in V=R*I. He wil walk you through the steps to find I. So click here to find I.
graphing linear equetions
This is a very helpful website. This show you how to graph linear equations. On this it will let you change the y-intercept, the slpoe. In the slpoe it will allow you to chang the rise and run and alot of other cool stuff. cilck here to look at the link
This website is really cool becasue it helps with the linear equations, where you can change the slope and the y-intercept. Check it out!
Indicated Variable (Name Game)
I had a problem with trying to solve these. This website shows you how to do indicated variables step by step. The websie just starts off with a simple variable. Click here to go to this website.
Graphing Linear Inequalities
I just found this really neat website that allows you to graph linear inequalities. It helps because you can see where the shading should be as well as whether it is a solid or dotted line. You can even change the slope and y-intercept to match an inequality of your choice. It gives you information about the inequalities if you are unsure how to use it and it allows you to graph inequalities in standard form. Check it out!

Inequalities
Hey guys i found this link that could help with the inequalities!http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1wPJfzStBqE. He is basically saying the same thing that Ms. Bell has already taught us that when you multiply or dived by a negative you need to switch the sign.
P.S. Doesn't he have a weird voice?

Welcome to our Algebra blog!
Your task is to use this blog as a tool to review for our first trimester exam. You are required to post at least 2 original posts and respond to 4 of your classmate's posts. Each of your posts will be graded on a 1-4 scale:
4: Your post contains content that is useful in reviewing for the exam and includes links to videos or websites for further assistance. Your post has original thoughts rather than simply restating what someone else has said.
3: Your post contains content that is useful in reviewing for the exam but does not include any videos or links to further assistance. Your post has original thoughts rather than simply restating what someone else has said.
2: Your post contains content relevant to the final exam though not useful in reviewing for the exam. Your post has some original thoughts, but also restates what someone else has said.
